🏛⚡️LEGEND:

In greek mythology, there is a spirit in the underworld who carries souls of the newly deceased across the rivers Styx and Acheron that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead. This ferryman is known by the name of Charon. One had to pay Charon for passage by placing a coin in the mouth of a dead person during burial. Some say that if poorly buried, one had to wander the shores for one hundred years, until finally being allowed to cross the river.
Those that could pay Charon would be safely transported into the heart of Hades’ realm. The deceased could then stand in front of the Judges of the Dead, who would pass judgement on how they would spend eternity...
