Day 8- Toad🐸👹
According to 17th-century goetic occult writings, there is a king of hell who is commonly said to have the head of a man, a cat, or a toad, or a combination thereof. This demon is said to have the power to make those who invoke him invisible or wise.
He is known as Baal and is by some demonologists believed to be most powerful in October. The origin of Halloween in Samhain (today the most important celebration of the wiccan religion) was believed to involve pagan worship and sacrifice to Baal. An ancient fertility deity mentioned in the Hebrew bible shares his name. The worship of this deity required sacrificial burning of children.
