Day 11- Tarot💀🃏 Death (XIII) or “The Card with No Name” is the 13th trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks. It is used in Tarot, tarock and tarocchi games as well as in divination.
Although it is the Tarot card that many people fear, Death generally does not mean physical death. As a rule it is unethical and irresponsible to predict deaths as a Tarot reader. The Death Tarot Card usually signifies spiritual transformation, change and new beginnings. The transformation or change this card can bring can be difficult, unexpected, sudden or even traumatic but it will bring with it a new lease of life and should be embraced as a fresh start. This Major Arcana card can also signify the need to let go of old issues or beliefs when it appears in a Tarot spread. It may be telling you that you need to draw a line under the past in order to move forward in a positive direction. A Death card transformation can be a bit of a shock to the system but ultimately it’s a positive one.
In the old days, a miniature skull made of wood, stone or some kind of crystal was worn as a talisman. It was called “Memento Mori” and served as a reminder that we should enjoy and live our lives to the fullest.
This is painting 11 for #mabsdrawlloweenclub Maybe not the most unique choice of card to draw but sometimes you just have to draw a skeleton you know? I hope you like it🌚
